Ornamental Grass

This offer is for an approximate 1-gallon (4+ stems) rooted plant of the miscanthus ornamental grass. The plant will be shipped as bare root. The Miscanthus Morning Light grass is an easily recognizable, variegated grass. Miscanthus Morning Light is a very popular Miscanthus. It boasts tall, white center variegated, narrow leaves. It is quite attractive as the green blades have added highlights of creamy-white margins and mid-veins creating a shimmering silvery appearance. Its appearance is fine textured and it has a compact growth habit. This plant works well as a specimen plant in the garden or can be used in container gardens for a couple of years. The reddish bronze blooms appear in the fall which adds visual excitement to shrub borders. It displays delicate reddish-bronze plumes in late summer. It adds graceful movement to the garden throughout every season!
