Mizuno JPX 800 Pro Forged 52 Degree Loft Gap Golf Wedge, Stiff Flex
Mizuno introduced its JPX 800 Pro and JPX 800 Pro Forged series of irons and wedges into the retail marketplace in 2011. Advantages of forged club head over a cast club head irons are as follows: - Although forged club head irons are more expensive than irons with cast club heads they are softer than cast hence the ball stays on the clubface marginally longer. This longer time on the clubface, it is argued, allows the player to shape shots more easily imparting more fade/draw spin to the ball. - They’re more forgiving on mishit / off-center shots and they have a softer feel at ball impact than cast heads. - The loft of forged heads can be adjusted up to 4-5 degrees. Cast irons can only be adjusted 2-3 degrees before the head snaps-off. It has a True Temper S300 stiff flex steel shaft and a Winn Dri-Tac Oversize grip that’s in excellent condition and it’s selling for a reasonable price. Pick up only on the Northwest side of Houston, TX. Sorry, I don’t ship.
